The Hortizon is a horticulture brand based in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, focused on growing and delivering fresh mushrooms. Our philosophy is simple - “Made by Nature, Chos'n by Us.” We grow our mushrooms ourselves and bring them from our farm to homes and businesses.

The Hortizon is located at Ward No. 2, VPO Ghaneta, Tehsil Palampur, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh - 176060. We grow our mushrooms locally and serve customers across Palampur, Dharamshala and Kangra.

Yes. Our mushrooms are grown by "The Hortizon" itself at our cultivation facility in Palampur. This allows us to maintain better control over freshness, quality and handling from cultivation to delivery.

We currently offer Button Mushrooms and Oyster Mushrooms throughout the year. We also offer seasonal mushroom varieties depending on availability.

Yes. Button Mushrooms and Oyster Mushrooms are available throughout the year, subject to daily production and stock availability.

Yes. The Hortizon focuses on naturally grown, chemical-free and pesticide-free mushrooms, with careful cultivation and hygienic handling.

You can order fresh Button and Oyster Mushrooms directly from The Hortizon in Palampur. We deliver across Palampur and also serve customers in Dharamshala and Kangra.

Yes. We specialize in delivering freshly harvested mushrooms directly from our cultivation operation to customers. Depending on the order and delivery timing, mushrooms can reach customers within a few hours of harvesting.

The minimum order is 500 grams.

Our standard packing starts from approximately 130 grams and goes up to 10 kg. We can also customize packaging according to customer requirements.

Our standard delivery charge starts at ₹100, while the final delivery charge may vary depending on the specific delivery location.

Yes. If your order is received during the morning or daytime, we generally aim to deliver it the same day. Orders received during the evening or night are generally delivered the following morning, depending on availability and delivery logistics.

Our aim is to get freshly harvested mushrooms to customers within approximately 2–4 hours, depending on the order, location and delivery conditions.

Yes. We operate deliveries 7 days a week, 365 days a year, subject to product availability and operational conditions.

Yes, scheduled delivery can be requested. It depends on the availability of our delivery team, product availability and the delivery location.

Freshness is one of our priorities. Our mushrooms are locally cultivated and can be delivered within approximately 2-4 hours after harvesting, depending on the order and location.

For the best taste and freshness, we recommend cooking them on the same day. If you need to store them, keep them refrigerated under suitable refrigerator conditions.

We recommend consuming Oyster Mushrooms on the same day whenever possible. If you need to store them, keep them properly refrigerated.

Our mushrooms generally stay fresh for around 2 days, although actual freshness depends heavily on how they are handled, packaged and stored by the customer.

Fresh mushrooms are a highly perishable food, so proper storage and timely consumption help preserve their texture, flavour and overall quality.

Our mushrooms are packed in boxes and sealed with The Hortizon branding, sticker or stamp to maintain product presentation and brand identification.

Yes. We offer carefully handled and branded packaging, and customized packaging is also available depending on customer requirements.

The Hortizon does offer a replacement/refund process for eligible product-quality issues. Customers should refer to our Refund Policy for the applicable terms and process.

Yes. COD is available for orders of 1 kg or more.

Not currently. Mushroom farming guidance and training programs are not presently offered by The Hortizon.

At present, The Hortizon does not offer a mushroom farming business training or farm-startup program. Our current focus is on growing and supplying fresh mushrooms and offering Oyster Mushroom Growing Kits.

Button and Oyster Mushrooms differ in appearance, texture, flavour and cultivation characteristics. Button Mushrooms are compact and rounded, while Oyster Mushrooms have a distinctive fan-like shape and softer, delicate texture.

Mushrooms can be a nutritious addition to a balanced diet and provide nutrients such as protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals. Their nutritional profile varies by mushroom variety and preparation method.

Clean mushrooms gently before cooking and remove any visible dirt or growing-medium residue. Avoid soaking them unnecessarily, as mushrooms can absorb water and lose some of their desirable texture.

The Hortizon grows its own mushrooms locally and focuses on freshness, quality and reliable supply. Our key strengths include local cultivation, farm freshness, hygienic cultivation, direct-from-farm supply, no middlemen, sustainable cultivation, premium packaging, consistent supply and same-day delivery where applicable.

No. You can check out as a guest with just your name, phone number and email. Creating an account is optional and mainly useful if you want to see your past orders in one place.

Yes. Use the Track Your Order page with your Order ID and the phone number or email you used at checkout, no account or login required.

Bulk orders (5kg and above) require a 50% advance to confirm the order once we've checked stock, with the remaining 50% collected on delivery. If the balance isn't paid at delivery, the order is cancelled and the advance is not refunded.

Stock is checked again at the moment you check out, since what's available can change daily based on that day's harvest. If something in your cart is no longer available in the quantity you want, you'll be asked to adjust it before the order is confirmed.

Yes. Our mushrooms are grown by The Hortizon itself, allowing us to maintain a direct connection between cultivation and customers.
